B-29 DOC tour stop in Wendover, UT, Canceled

The B-29 DOC History Restored Tour stop scheduled for June 25-28 at Historic Wendover Airfield in Wendover, UT, has been canceled.

“Unfortunately, due to unforeseen aircraft maintenance discovered during the air show demonstration flight and subsequent delays beyond our control, we are unable to conduct our B-29 DOC tour stop in Wendover,” said B-29 DOC Chief Executive Officer Josh Wells. “The safe and long-term operation of DOC is our top priority, and sometimes with warbirds unplanned maintenance drives unexpected and unavoidable schedule changes.”

All ride flight passengers with previously booked/prepaid tickets will receive an email with information about ticket refunds. Those refunds will be credited to the credit card used for the original purchase, and the funds will arrive within 6-10 days.

“Wendover Airfield’s place in history is monumental,” Wells continued. “While we are disappointed we cannot be there this year, we are exploring options to bring the B-29 DOC History Restored Tour back to Wendover in 2027. We hope to have an announcement on that plan sometime in August.”

Meanwhile, the complete B-29 DOC tour schedule is available at www.b29doc.com/events. Additional tour stops will be added to the schedule, and you can sign up to be among the first to know about those tour stop announcements here: www.b29doc.com/signup.
