B-29 DOC History Restored Tour adds a Delaware stop in May

The B-29 DOC History Restored Tour will make a stop in Wilmington, Delaware, and New Castle Airport, May 12-14, 2025.

The iconic B-29 DOC is one of 1,644 B-29 bombers built by the Boeing Company in Wichita, KS, during World War II. DOC will be hosted by flyADVANCED Aviation Group while at New Castle. The Wilmington tour stop is the second stop of what will be a six-and-a-half week, 47-day tour that will include tour stops in eight cities.

The public can view the historic aircraft and its flight operations from public viewing and access areas around the airport. DOC will be available for ground and cockpit tours at the 2025 Power in the Pines Open House and Air Show at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst May 17 and 18.
