B-29 Doc Reschedules Tour Stops in Fayetteville and Texarkana
The B-29 Doc History Restored Tour scheduled to launch this week in Fayetteville, AR, and the following week in Texarkana, AR, has been rescheduled for May due to aircraft maintenance and weather.
The new tour dates for Arkansas will be:
- May 11-14: Fayetteville, AR (Arkansas Air and Military Museum; Drake Field)
- May 17-21: Texarkana, AR (Texarkana Regional Airport)
B-29 Doc Flight Experience ticket holders will receive communication via email with options of rebooking their flight on Doc to the new dates in May, or a refund will be processed.
“Aircraft maintenance, coupled with less-than-favorable weather conditions both in Kansas and in Arkansas for this weekend, drove our decision to reschedule these tour stops to the month of May,” said Josh Wells, B-29 Doc executive director.
B-29 Doc Flight Experience tickets remain on sale now for the stops in Fayetteville and Texarkana for the new dates. B-29 Doc will arrive at Drake Field, Thursday, May 11, and will be hosted by the Arkansas Air and Military Museum, May 12-14. Ground and flight deck tours will be available Friday, May 12, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., as well as Saturday and Sunday, May 13 and 14, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., following morning ride flight schedules both days. Admission for the museum, which includes ground and cockpit tours, will be $22 for adults, $12 for children, $20 for veterans, first responders and law enforcement. B-29 Doc will arrive at Texarkana Regional Airport, Tuesday, May 16, and will be hosted by Signature Flight Support. Ground and flight deck tours will be available Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, May 17-19, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, May 20-21, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., following morning ride flight schedules.
