Hangar bricks and granite tiles have arrived; VIDEO of Doc rolling into the hangar for the first time

The first round of brick and granite tiles that were ordered by B-29 Doc Hangar and Education Center supporters has arrived at the new Doc hangar. As construction crews continue to put the finishing touches on the new 32,000 sq. ft. facility in Wichita, Kans., bricklayers are working to install the bricks and granite tiles in the plaza area in front of Doc’s new home.

The plaza installation is expected to be completed by the end of November and ready for the January 2019 grand opening and open house event. Donors who have also purchased additional donor bricks, tiles and/or certificates will soon receive those items just in time for the upcoming holiday season.
