“The CAF High Sky Wing AIRSHO is one of the nation’s longest-running annual air shows that features unique performances showcasing our nation’s airpower from World War II to present-day warfighters,” said Mark Novak, B-29 DOC aircraft commander and chief pilot. “Honoring the men and women who designed, built and flew these airplanes during the war allows us to educate today’s generation and ensures the legacies of the Greatest Generation live on for generations to come. We are excited to be back in Midland to tell the stories of these war heroes and honor those who continue to serve to protect freedom at home and abroad today.”
