Description
The B-29 DOC Air Defense Command patch was released in 2025 by the DOC team and includes the Air Defense Command markings that B-29 DOC had on the left side fuselage while it was a member of the Radar Calibration Squadron at Griffis Air Force Base from 1951-1956. The Air Defense Command marking/patch was restored on B-29 DOC in 2025 to pay tribute to the way DOC looked when it was rescued from the Mojave Desert and China Lake Naval Air Weapons Station.
