The B-29 DOC History Restored Tour is headed to Historic Wendover Air Field, offering a powerful and fitting backdrop to experience one of World War II’s most iconic aircraft.

Wendover played a critical role in the B-29 program during the war, making this stop especially meaningful. Today, DOC—one of only two airworthy B-29 Superfortresses in the world—continues that legacy as a flying tribute to the crews and ground personnel who served during a defining moment in history.

Visitors will have the rare opportunity to step aboard this legendary bomber, explore its interior, and learn firsthand about its role in the war and the ongoing efforts to preserve it.

B-29 DOC Flight Experience + Ground and Cockpit Tours

Ride flights will be offered in Wendover, giving visitors the unforgettable opportunity to take to the skies aboard this legendary aircraft. Multiple flight times will be available throughout the visit. PLUS, the public will have access to tour the cockpit/flight deck, getting up-close, personal, and hands-on experience and views inside the warbird. Ground and cockpit tour tickets will be available for $10 per person or $20 per family (tickets available at the gate on the days of the event). B-29 DOC will be on static ramp display for public access Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Friday, June 26, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday, June 27 and 28, from 12 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. following morning ride flight operations.
