Richmond, VA: History Restored Tour (B-29 DOC + P-51 Gunfighter)

• Friday, June 13: Ground and cockpit tours will NOT be available on Friday due to DOC’s flight schedule to participate in the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum’s Innovations of Flight event at Udvar-Hazy on Saturday, June 14.

The B-29 DOC History Restored Tour with P-51 Mustang Gunfighter will land in Richmond, VA, at Richmond International Airport, June 12-16.

This joint tour stop, featuring both historic warbirds, will include warbird ride experiences on both the B-29 DOC and the P-51 Gunfighter, as well as access to B-29 DOC ground and cockpit tours when the B-29 is not executing ride flights.

B-29 DOC ride flights will be available Friday, June 13, and Sunday, June 15, while P-51 Gunfighter flight experience rides will be available Friday, Saturday and Sunday, June 13-15. Ride flight tickets are on sale now at www.b29doc.com/rides and at www.p51gunfighter.com. Tickets for ground and cockpit tour access will be available for purchase at the gate the days of the event.

Ground and cockpit tour access for B-29 DOC will be available the following days and times. Admission will be $10 per person or $20 per family.

• Thursday (June 12) from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (last tour ticket sold at 4 p.m.)
• Friday: Ground and cockpit tours will NOT be available on Friday due to DOC’s flight schedule to participate in the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum’s Innovations of Flight event at Udvar-Hazy on Saturday, June 14.
• Sunday (June 15) from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. (last tour ticket sold 4 p.m.)
