B-29 DOC, one of only two airworthy Boeing B-29 Superfortresses in the world, will be a featured performer at the 2026 Grissom Air Reserve Base Air Show, August 29-30 at Grissom ARB in Indiana.
Experience the unmistakable sight and sound of this legendary World War II bomber as it takes to the skies during the air show, honoring the aircraft, the crews who flew it, and the generation that changed history.
When not flying, DOC will be on static display, giving visitors a rare opportunity to see the iconic bomber up close, meet members of the volunteer crew, and explore one of the most significant aircraft of World War II. During the air show weekend, guests can also tour the aircraft on the ground, including access to the cockpit and crew compartments, for an up-close look at this living piece of aviation history.
