Cincinnati’s Lunken Airport will host the B-29 DOC History Restored Tour with TWO iconic World War II-era warbirds: B-29 DOC and P-51 Mustang Gunfighter, as part of the annual Lunken Airport Days. The event will be hosted by Cincinnati Warbirds – EAA Squadron 18.

What to Expect

One of only two remaining airworthy B-29s in the world, DOC is a meticulously restored World War II bomber that honors the men and women who built, maintained, and flew these legendary aircraft. P-51 Gunfighter is a D-Model Mustang and one of the less than 150 of the nearly 8,000 D-models that were built during the war that still exist today. During the History Restored Tour, visitors of all ages are invited to step inside DOC and get up close to Gunfighter, explore history, and meet the volunteers who keep these two warbirds flying.
