Due to low clouds and rain in the forecast for Sunday, May 5 in Newport News, VA, schedule changes have been made to the tour stop.
Ground and cockpit tours on Sunday will not begin until approximately 1:15 p.m., permitting ride flight operations are completed.
B-29 Doc is scheduled to fly at 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 5 in Newport News.

All attempts will be made to open to the public for ground and cockpit tours between the first two and the second two ride flights of the day. There is a possibility that the ride flight schedule will prevent ground and cockpit tour operations on Sunday, May 5.

Ground and cockpit tours on Saturday, May 4 will begin at 9 a.m. and run until 3 p.m.

B-29 Doc will arrive at Newport News Williamsburg Airport on Thursday, May 2, and will be available for ground and cockpit tours from May 3 through May 5, 2024.
B-29 Doc Flight Experience rides will be available on Saturday and Sunday, May 4 and 5. Ground and cockpit tours will be hosted Friday, May 3 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday, May 4 and 5, from 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., following morning ride flights.
