Due to cold temperatures in Amarillo Sunday morning, April 16, the schedule for ground, cockpit tours and B-29 Flight Experiences has been altered.
Ground and cockpit tours of B-29 Doc will be available from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., followed by B-29 Doc ride flights at 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. The last cockpit and ground tour ticket will be sold at 2 p.m., to allow for the line to cycle through the aircraft prior to the 4 p.m. ride flight.
More than 500 people came out to visit B-29 Doc at the Texas Air & Space Museum in Amarillo, TX, Saturday, April 15.
Meanwhile, all B-29 Doc ride flights for Sunday are SOLD OUT, but we are accepting waitlist names for possible ride flights on Monday morning, April 17. Email experience@b29doc.com to add your name to the waitlist, or call the box office at 316-358-9894.
B-29 Doc will arrive at Rick Husband Amarillo International Airport Thursday, April 13, and will be hosted by the Texas Air & Space Museum, April 14-16. Ground and flight deck tours will be available Friday, April 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., as well as Saturday and Sunday, April 15 and 16, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., following morning ride flight schedules both days.

Admission for the ground and cockpit tours (available at the gate on the day of the event) will be $10 per person and $20 per family.
