The B-29 Doc History Restored Tour will land in Ogden, UT, September 23-26.
B-29 Doc is one of 1,644 B-29s built by the Boeing Company in Wichita, Kansas, during World War II, and one of only two B-29 aircraft still airworthy and flying today. This year (2024) marks 80 years since Doc rolled off the assembly line in 1944.
The mid-week tour stop will feature B-29 Doc Flight Experience rides in Ogden in the evenings on Tuesday, Sept. 24 and Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 6 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. both days, as well as morning flights on Thursday, Sept. 25 at 9 and 11 a.m.
Flight experience tickets for B-29 Doc in Ogden, UT, are on sale now at www.b29doc.com/rides. The mid-week stop for B-29 will include ride flights only and ground/cockpit tours will not be available in Ogden. Doc will arrive at Ogden-Hinkley Airport on Monday, Sept. 23, marking a halfway point from an air show in Great Bend, KS (Sept. 20-22) on the way to MCAS Miramar Air Show (Sept. 27-29).
